Antharagange literally translates to “The Ganges from the deep” and is found around seventy kilometers from Bangalore within the Kolar District of Karnataka which lies within the Shathashrunga range. A mountain with an altitude of 1712 meters from water level hosting rocky boulders and little caves ready to be explored which is wrapped with a dense plantation. Antargange is understood because the Kashi of the south because it is home to the famous Sri Kashi Vishweshwara temple. The temple dedicated to Lord Shiva features a pond with endless flow of underground water from the Basava/Stone bull’s mouth. The mountain is additionally home to seven villages.
